I then cut strips from the Winged Vines paper as well as squares and overlapped them together with stickers from Nature's Walk , die cuts and stamps from the same collection.

New layout for Prima featuring Epiphany!

Hey there everyone! I hope this finds you well. I am here today to share with you a layout I created for Prima using their new mixed media products and flowers and the Epiphany collection.

For this project we were asked to focus on a current trend and for me... well I see circles EVERYWHERE ! LOL !

If you are in the USA please check out The Flying Unicorn as it carries almost all of these products at their store HERE

If you are in Australia please have a look at Sassy Scrapper as they also have almost everything I use on my Prima projects HERE

I created circles very easily and here are some things I did:
1)stamp an image of a circle
2) spray Color Blooms on your mat and use your fingers to colour them in
3)Take the nozzle of your Color Bloom and create circles on top of the stamped image
4)Use the back of your brush and dip into your Color Bloom to create a more interesting effect

Here is my take on the challenge...

I revisited once again an old time favourite collection from 7 Dots "Wonderland"

It is very rare for me to find a collection with the right colour blue that I like and that appeals to my style and that does not look TOO masculine. This is why I love Wonderland and some of the older 7 Dots Studio collections because this blue is perfect for that bit of rustic look I am looking for.

So let me walk you through some steps..

As always I used my beloved clear gesso on my background and started my background by using one more much loved product, my Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste in white :)

I then applied a couple of 13arts and Heidi Swapp mists .

I dug up some older Prima flower stems as well that were hiding at the bottom of the drawer and matched them to the overall colour theme of the page.

I used die cuts from the Wonderland collection to create some layering

And I also used some stickers from the same collection

I started by cutting to size 2 contrasting paper from the Forever Green 6 x 6 paper pad and then used the Forever Green stamp to stamp the background with black archival ink. I then painted the Wood Icon leaves in gesso before using them and the rest of the collection to create layers.

Lastly, I added more Wood Icon butterflies and a quote from one of the papers and finished off with a  resin heart to keep with the Wedding Theme and some gorgeous new flowers. All of these were adhered using the new Gel Medium
